Raw Material Storeage and Destoning Process

We procure the raw materials (Turmeric) from the farmers contracted by us. The initial process of raw materials starts with pre-cleaning process. In the pre-cleaning process, the turmeric fingers are checked and ensured by our experts that they are free from harmful pests or insects. Then they are graded before carrying on any further processes. Once the pre-cleaning process is completed, destoning process will be carried out which will do the function of extricating or separating if there is any metal trash or any other type of stones from the Turmeric fingers. This is done by means of air and the difference of density between them. Then the Turmeric fingers are graded manually and are sent for the further process

Polishing Process

In the process of polishing all the turmeric fingers are kept in one drum and they are rolled 4 to 6 hours continuously. By way of this rolling process, there is a friction between the turmeric fingers and thus they get needed shine and also it will become ash free.

Grinding Process

Once the polishing process is completed, Turmeric fingers are taken for grinding process. Pulverising machine carry out the grinding process.

Lab Test

Metal Detector is used to find out that the product does not contain any metal particles which can be hazardous. Turmeric Powder is sent to Lab Test for analysis to find out the presence of pests, micro organisms, pesticide residues in the turmeric powder and presence of foreign matters.

Packaging

Packaging is done either by automatic packing machine or manually depending on the characteristic of the product and the requirements from the market. The packing material conforms to the statutory requirements of food products and is in accordance with the specifications. We provide best quality packing with minimal time consumption by using quality packing machines .It is being packed in 100 gms, 300 gms and 400 gms and 500 gms Pouches depending upon the market/buyers requirements

Storage

Powder is stored in tanks then weighed, packing in different size, as per the customer requirements like 10kg bags, 25 kg bags, 50kg bags, etc. Generally, jute bags are used for packing the Turmeric powder. Gunny bags are used for packing turmeric fingers.
