Exquisite handmade woolen doll set depicting South Indian traditional pre-wedding ceremony of making turmeric paste. In this ceremony, the turmeric paste is made and applied to both bride and groom before the wedding. The ladies in the family make the turmeric paste by the traditional method of powdering the turmeric. The lady dolls are dressed in traditional sarees.
