Description
Exquisite handmade woolen doll set depicting Kashi yatra, part of South Indian traditional wedding function. The groom decides to leave it all behind and run towards Kashi (eternal bachelorhood), then he is persuaded by the bride’s father and uncles. Usually, held before the Muhurtham with a lot of fun when everyone has a hearty laugh. The groom is then brought back to the mandap, to pick up his new set of vows and stride into his new life ahead.
These adorable dolls are handmade by artisans of Karnataka. A great choice for the Navarathri Golu collection and wedding ceremony.
